Website Redesign
for FOMOE UK Charity

Showcasing FOMOE’s Work and Mission to Educate Orphans in Malawi

FOMOE website

Web Design · Narrative Strategy · Digital Visibility

At Creatiloom, we partnered with FOMOE, a UK-based charity dedicated to supporting the education of orphaned and vulnerable children at MOET School in Mangochi, Malawi. Our goal was to design a compelling charity website that clearly communicates the organisation’s mission, builds trust, and encourages donations, volunteerism, and ongoing engagement.

We created a structure grounded in storytelling for nonprofits, prioritising emotional connection, transparency, and clarity. The design highlights real-life impact through visual narratives, including powerful photos and volunteer stories. This approach allows visitors to quickly understand FOMOE’s values and take meaningful action.

The site features dedicated sections for current projects, donation pathways, updates, and information on how to get involved. We applied UX principles for nonprofit websites, ensuring the platform is mobile-friendly, easy to navigate, and optimised for both desktop and handheld devices.

Clear calls to action guide visitors toward becoming supporters, while the layout’s consistent visual identity builds credibility. SEO best practices were implemented through strategic keywords, image alt text, meta descriptions, and clean design hierarchy to improve visibility on search engines.

This project demonstrates how thoughtful web design for charities can drive awareness and funding, support long-term mission goals, and expand the digital reach of grassroots initiatives. Visit the site here.
